Michigan State Police is sponsoring an 8-hour, DHS/DEMA certified, tuition-free, awareness-level course. The goal of this course is to teach participants the basics of mass fatality response while providing opportunities to exchange rural perceptions and brainstorm solutions to simulated emergencies. Please see the PDF below for more information. Registration must be completed by March 29, 2023. Coalitions are highly encouraged to attend this course.

In this series of virtual trainings, the main core subjects all healthcare Emergency Managers use such as Incident Command Structure, Hazard Vulnerability Assessments, Exercises, After Action Reports, Crisis Standards of Care and more will be covered.

A Volunteer Reception Center is a coordination point for spontaneous volunteers and the place to develop partnerships with community and responding agencies, identify volunteer opportunities and fill staffing needs. We invite you to attend VRC training on January 12, 2023 from 10 am - 4 pm at the Gaylord University Center. |
